Brikama in the Gambia is the place I was born 42 years ago as son of a Mandingo father and a Wolof mother, respresenting two very strong tribes in Senegambia.

Growing up in The Gambia, I gathered a lot of experience from observing the actions of my father and learning from his teachings. My father is a wise and just man manning the position of Paramount Dembo Seyfo for the Western Division in The Gambia, formerly known as the Combo Empire.

Though still being young, I was very much interested in finding answers to questions like:

How can I support to bring progress, peace and prosperity to my people?

These three words represent the headline of our constitution in The Gambia.

When I was 25 years old, I felt the need to educate myself in terms of western societies. And what better way is there, than to travel to other countries?

Soon I focused on Germany who also have three words attached to their national emblem - Einigkeit,Recht und Freiheit. Their qualities were respected globally and they showed tremendous economic power as a nation, even after the darkest first half of the last century.

In 1992 I moved to Germany, which was easygoing for me these days, since I was a very good soccer player, also playing for the Gambian national soccer team. Soon I found a club and settled in the area of Hamburg (Germany).

With one of the biggest harbors in Europe just nearby, I got interested in import/export business, aware of the fact that it would help me bigtime supporting my people back home in The Gambia. By sending containers to Banjul harbor, filling them up with rather anything I can find or trade to make their lives a little easier. Most of the materials and concepts I donate for helping them establishing their own businesses to run their lives with a future carried by more hope and self-esteem ahead. Give them work!

These days the 33rd container sent by me leaves the harbor, what a blessing!

So I help to develop The Gambia, but taking a look at the place I live now, shows me development support is needed here just the same. Over the years, Germany has changed by huge margins and I have been living in the capital of Berlin (Germany) for some time now. Sometimes I wonder about the fast changing world I see today with all it´s egoistic desires and ever growing demands and ask myself, will the tides for my people change?

Debt, unemployment, broken families or corruption, the list goes on and on. Does change have a chance?

For hundreds of years, Europe leeched from my continent of Africa. Unnecessary to go into details, the African history seems to be known all over the world with a simple describtion line:

Poverty, oppression and enslavement. But why?

Today we have Obama..  what if we really can bring change? Each one of us?!

Problems and chances are present everywhere, no matter if it´s Banjul, Berlin or Bejing.

My Friend and Partner Ibrahim | We are still a Team.

Money, media and politics make the world go round, but honestly, do you really know and support all their actions?

I try to overlook the vastness of today` s problems and sufferings, there is nothing new under the sun and chewing them over and over again doesn´t make them any sweeter.

It is important to know your past, but it´s even more important to build a brighter future from what you have learned.

In my culture, thinking this familyheritageway is a natural given.

Together, let’s carve a future for our past.

Recently, I concentrated my efforts on building alternative concepts and business models for various parts of our lifestyles and societies in The Gambia and Germany today.

I started to realize, we have huge assets in Africa, we just lack the know-how and expertise to monetize on it and prosper as nations. There is always a product and a market.

Africa has many products. The West rules the markets.

What I want to see changing is the disbalance between backend and frontend towards more free and fair trade and less links in the chain, so it will benefit all business partners and customers more directly.

We don´t need more government, we need more spiritual and free people who are self-responsible. Nature won´t change – man must change. But how to build such a different environment where people enjoy freedom and fairness while making their living from honest work?

The first time I got some concrete answers to my questions was when I met Ulf Diebel and Morris Wink here in Berlin and they told me about their G-System (German). They explained to me, why it is so hard to overcome the poverty in my homecountry, as well as in all the other areas on earth. The moneysystem of today is based on debt, debt that can´t be paid back, it´s like a drain. Their suggestion.. use another currency!

Machines, commodities, raw materials.. anything of real value especially gold or silver.

Today only money and the making of more money seems to interest business makers, but have we forgotten about barter business and building longterm sustaining enterprises and partnerships that last longer than just a few seasons?

I want to build small to mid-sized businesses in The Gambia and Germany. Lots of them!

Give the people something to do.. one machine means a running business for many African people. This is our plan, start more business to help people being able to help themselves.

Take a look in my What I do section to get a rough first impression of the many things and businesses I am involved in and what I can do. I am open for any suggestion which is fair and reasonable. Please help me build my dream of a better tomorrow for my people and take yourself a little time to realize the many opportunities a free and fair partnership with me or my family has to offer. Don´t hesitate to contact me here directly.
